📚 How to Check Result

• Step 1: Click on the “Download Result List” link below.
• Step 2: A PDF containing the Roll Numbers of shortlisted candidates will open.
• Step 3: Search your **Roll Number** using Ctrl+F.
• Step 4: If qualified, you will see your name/roll number highlighted. Prepare for DV/PST.

📢 1. Blog Analysis

Selection Update: The written exam marks have been normalized. Shortlisted candidates (approx 2.5 to 3 times the vacancies) are called for **Document Verification (DV)** and **Physical Standard Test (PST)**. In PST, only Height and Chest (for males) measurements are taken; there is NO running test for these ministerial posts.

📖 2. Next Stage: Skill Test Pattern

Skill Test is Qualifying (No Marks Added):

• Typing Font: Hindi typing is conducted on **Inscript Layout** (Mangal Font).
• SI Confidential: Candidates must pass BOTH Typing and Stenography tests. Failing Steno but passing Typing *might* make you eligible for ASI Clerk if you applied for both.
• Accuracy: Generally 85% accuracy is required.

🎯 3. Strategy for DV & Skill Test

1. O Level Certificate: Ensure your O Level (or equivalent) certificate was issued **before the last date of application**. This is the biggest rejection reason in UP Police DV.
2. Typing Practice: Practice strictly on “Inscript” layout. Do not use Remington (Kruti Dev).
3. PST Prep: While there is no running, ensure you meet the height criteria (Male: 163 cm, Female: 150 cm) exactly.
