📢 1. Blog Analysis

Selection Change: Previously, BTSC recruited based on academic merit (marks basis). However, the new 2025 guidelines suggest a **Computer Based Test (CBT)** might be conducted if the number of applications is high (above 40,000). Candidates should prepare for a written exam rather than relying solely on Diploma marks.

📖 2. Exam Pattern (Expected)

Total 100 Marks | 2 Hours:

• Technical Domain: 80 Questions (Civil/Mechanical Engineering basics).
• General Studies: 20 Questions (GK, Bihar Special, Current Affairs).
• Negative Marking: 0.25 (1/4th) for every wrong answer.

🎯 3. Important Documents for Form

1. Reservation: OBC candidates must have a valid NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate. EWS candidates need the current financial year’s Income Certificate.
2. Experience: If you are working on a contract basis in the Bihar Govt, ensure you upload the “Experience Certificate” countersigned by the DM/Civil Surgeon to claim weightage marks.
3. Photo: Recent passport-size photo with a white background is preferred.
