📢 1. Blog Analysis

Golden Opportunity: NDA is the premier entry for 12th graders to become officers. The Army wing allows students from Arts/Commerce backgrounds, which is a unique advantage. However, the Air Force and Navy wings strictly require Physics and Math. The competition is tough, but the real test is the **SSB Interview** (900 Marks) which follows the written exam.

📖 2. Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Total 900 Marks | Offline (OMR Based)

  • Paper 1: Mathematics (300 Marks): 120 Questions based on 11th/12th Algebra, Calculus, Matrices, Trig, Stats. (Duration: 2.5 Hours).
  • Paper 2: GAT (600 Marks):
    – Part A: English (200 Marks) – Grammar & Vocab.
    – Part B: General Knowledge (400 Marks) – Physics, Chem, History, Geography, Current Affairs.
  • Negative Marking: 1/3rd marks deducted for wrong answers.

🎯 3. Strategy for April Exam

1. Math Sectional Cutoff: You MUST score at least 25% (approx 75 marks) in Math separately to get your GAT paper checked. Focus on Algebra and Trigonometry if Calculus is weak.
2. English is Scoring: The 200 marks in English are easier to score than GK. Focus on Antonyms/Synonyms and Spotting Errors.
3. Current Affairs: Focus on Defence exercises, Awards, and Science & Tech from the last 6 months.
