📢 1. Blog Analysis

City Slip vs Admit Card: Do not confuse this with the Admit Card. This document only tells you the City where your exam will be held so you can book train/bus tickets. The actual Admit Card with the Centre Name (College/School) will be released 3 days before the exam (around Dec 14-15).

📖 2. Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The exam consists of three parts (A, B, C):

  • Part A (Common): General Aptitude (Logical Reasoning, Graph, Numerical Ability). Total 20 Qs (Attempt 15).
  • Part B (Subject): Conventional MCQs covering the syllabus.
  • Part C (High Value): Analytical questions testing scientific concepts. This section carries higher marks and negative marking.

🎯 3. Last Minute Strategy

1. Part A Importance: Many science students ignore Part A. Scoring 20-25 marks here can be the difference between JRF and LS.
2. Part C Selection: You have internal choices (e.g., attempt 25 out of 75). Select questions wisely; accuracy is more important than attempts.
3. Revision: Focus on formulas (Physical/Chemical) and cycles/pathways (Life Sciences).
