📢 1. Blog Analysis
Department Allocation: This is a Combined Examination. Candidates will be allotted departments (like Women & Child Development, Social Welfare, Training & Technical Edu, etc.) based on their **Merit + Preference**. Since the eligibility is just 10th Pass, competition will be extremely high. It is a pure Government Job in Delhi with no interview.
📖 2. Exam Pattern (One Tier)
Total 200 Marks | 2 Hours:
- General Awareness: 40 Marks.
- General Intelligence & Reasoning: 40 Marks.
- Arithmetical & Numerical Ability: 40 Marks.
- Test of Hindi Language: 40 Marks.
- Test of English Language: 40 Marks.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
🎯 3. Strategy for Success
1. Photo Instructions: DSSSB is very strict about the “Postcard Size” photograph (5×7 inch) rules. Ensure you resize it correctly, or the form will be rejected.
2. Cutoff: Target 140+ Marks. The English and Hindi sections are the scoring keys here.
3. Document Readiness: OBC candidates MUST have an **OBC-Delhi Certificate**. OBC certificates from other states are treated as General Category.
