📢 1. Blog Analysis

Merit vs Qualifying Sections: This is the most unique feature of NABARD Prelims.

Qualifying Section: Reasoning, English, Computer, Quant, Decision Making. (Marks here are NOT added to merit; you just need to clear the cutoff).
Merit Section: **GA, ESI, and ARD**. Shortlisting for Mains is based ONLY on marks obtained in these 3 subjects (100 Marks Total).

📖 2. Prelims Exam Pattern (200 Marks)

Composite Time: 120 Minutes

  • Merit Parts: General Awareness (20), ESI (40), ARD (40). *Total: 100 Marks.*
  • Qualifying Parts: Reasoning (20), English (30), Computer (20), Quant (20), Decision Making (10). *Total: 100 Marks.*
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 Marks for every wrong answer.

🎯 3. Last Minute Strategy

1. Focus on ARD & ESI: Since merit depends on this, revise government schemes (PM-KISAN, MGNREGA) and latest agriculture data (MSP, Production estimates).
2. Decision Making: Do not ignore this 10-mark section. Questions are logical but tricky; ensure you clear the sectional cutoff.
3. Time Management: Do not spend too much time on Quant/Reasoning puzzles as they are only qualifying.
